On Thursday, September 12, 2019, Prof. Georges Yahchouchi, LEBPASS Project Coordinator and Provost of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), participated in the conference “Integrating Syrians into Lebanese Higher Education through Recognition of Qualifications” organized by the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs (IFI) at the American University of Beirut (AUB). This conference aimed at discussing the state of play and challenges ahead for enhancing the recognition of higher education qualifications across the region.

In this conference, the findings and outcomes of the project implemented by IFI in partnership with the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT) were disseminated. Prof. Yahchouchi gave a presentation on the “Recognition of Academic Qualifications in H.E. in Lebanon”.
